About me

I'm PapaBearded (Tom if calling me Papa or PB feels weird 😆 ). I'm a 36 yr old father of a 4 year old and an infant from the Boston area, though we split time in NW Arkansas.

I'm mostly a bird photographer, but started taking disposable film cameras out in the field to do some landscapes and have been dabbling in AI with my photography and collage. Got started in NFTs during the ETH bubble of early 2021. Fun fact: I bought Claire Silver's first NFT and she bought my first. Naturally I flipped her's and want it back.

By April '21 I was minting on Tez and it quickly became my favorite place to create. I've helped lead the Photez community for a while now, and despite a break around the holidays and the birth of our second, it's been firing on all cylinders lately.

I did a community curated project on ETH called #Flocksourced where I took my favorite bird photography and had people vote on Twitter for which ones I'd mint into the collection. Also did 101 days of daily mints on objkt called #PBdailies which had a different theme each week including some double-exposure style collabs with other photographers. I since am addicted to new collections and usually have a # with pb-witty-name-here for each one.
